Everything is bigger in Texas and power distribution centers (PDCs) are no exception! M&I Electric, a division of Myers Power Products, has completed production of a PDC that will provide mission critical power for a state-of-the-art 10MTPA liquified natural gas (LNG) export facility. At 250’ x 46’, the building is nearly the size of the Goodyear Blimp!

One of four PDCs we are building to power the LNG facility, this 750 ton behemoth will help distribute 775MW of clean power via its weather-proof interlocking steel walls, 53 sections of M&I Electric's award-winning 5kV and 15 kV Intellisafe^TM arc-resistant switchgear, dozens of low voltage circuit breakers, and hundreds of intelligent low and medium voltage starters. The building and everything inside were engineered to the owner's unique specifications and built on an incredibly compressed production schedule of just 40 weeks from order to shipment.
