The Controlled Power, LLC fabrication facility not only provides products for CP's own use but also provides fabricated products to other direct users in the computer and telecommunication industries. As a result, the CP facility is classified as a Precision Fabrication shop. All fabricated products generally are required to meet a +/- tolerance of ten thousandths of an inch, resulting in enclosure quality that is second to none.

All metal parts, except for Power Control Centers structural steel bases, are coated with a porcelain-type finish of dry powder epoxy and run though a 425-degree bake oven. The finish is virtually scratchproof with all metal surfaces coated to a uniform thickness on the automated powder coat line.

The fabrication facility utilizes state-of-the-art equipment including computer-controlled metal forming equipment, turret head punch presses and laser cutting machines.
